Trash
To help us maintain the property and comply with local regulations, we kindly ask guests to follow the guidelines below.
All household trash must be securely bagged and placed inside the designated exterior trash bins located on the property. Please ensure the lids are fully closed and latched to prevent wildlife access.
Recycling should be placed in the clearly marked recycling bins. Only clean and dry recyclable materials should be placed in these containers.
If your stay overlaps with scheduled trash collection, you are not responsible for moving bins to the street unless otherwise instructed. Our team manages regular service.
If bins become full during your stay, please notify us so we can coordinate an additional pickup if necessary.
Loose trash left outside of bins may attract desert wildlife and could result in additional cleaning fees. We appreciate your care in keeping the property clean and secure.

Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.
This includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping, marijuana, and any other smoke-producing substances.
Smoking inside the home or near entryways may result in significant cleaning fees due to odor remediation and potential damage to furnishings.

Do not allow children to explore unattended. You are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of all others on the property during your stay.

Dark Skies at Night
Please do not leave exterior lights on once you have gone to bed. Light pollution is taken seriously in the desert. Please don’t take away from others’ star gazing experiences.
-

Water Tank
We’re off-grid here in the desert. Since water flows into our brand new water heater from the local water tank, keep your showers short and sweet and you won’t run out of hot water.
-

Septic Tank
We are on a septic system - all food particles and coffee grounds need to be thrown in the trash. Only water can go down the drain, and no artificial materials (no more than a handful of toilet paper) in the toilets. Wipes are for trash only. The septic system doesn’t have issues when these rules are followed. Any cost incurred by a visit from the plumber for a septic related issue is to be paid by the guest.
